DB6NT PCBs

(Under Construction)

From DB6NT, there are several PCBs for getting on 47GHz. There is a doubler PCB, which generates a CW signal from 23.5GHz, and a sub-harmonic mixer PCB, which can be used on both transmit and receive, again with a 23.5GHz local oscillator.

These pictures show the PCB, assembly and a photograph of the sub-harmonic mixer module. [To be added].

ON6UG with NB gear The picture right shows Freddie ON6UG at the recent Martlesham round table (9th November 1997) with his "Just in Time" 47GHz transverter, based on the DB6NT sub-harmonic mixer, with around 0.1mW output on transmit.

Also shown, on the left of the IC202, is Freddie's beacon marker, a multiplier to 47.088GHz, with the small dish.

See Dubus for full information on the DB6NT PCBs. There is information in the Dubus Technik IV, and also the original article on the DB6NT Mk II transverter was published in Dubus issue 1/1994.

In the UK, the DB6NT boards are available from Petra Suckling, 314A Newton Road, Rushden, Northants, NN10 0SY.
