MOVZT EXPLAINS HIS ATV EQUIPMENT

David Hall, M0VZT (also known as G8VZT), pictured here in shirt sleeves, is a very keen amateur microwave television enthusiast. He has built a good deal of equipment over the years and is now capable of sending and receiving high quality colour TV pictures on frequencies as high as 47GHz. He has worked excellent distances on the millimetric bands and holds a number of "firsts", particularly between EI and GI on microwave TV.

As a long time member of the Telford and District Amateur Radio Society, he has encouraged several other amateurs to become operative on microwave television. He played a major role in the organisation of the Telford Rally 2001. David has a personal 10GHz beacon in operation.

He is presently building a 76GHz transverter.
